【プロフィール】

I was born in Shizuoka Prefecture at the foot of Mt. Fuji, and currently live in Kyoto after having spent 21 years in Australia, completing a master’s degree from The University of Melbourne as well as a Diploma of Arts in Interior Design from Melbourne's RMIT University, and developing a career an Interior Designer working for several award-winning design/architectural practices.

Since returning to Japan in 2016, I settled in Kyoto and fully restored a 120-year-old traditional "Machiya" (Kyoto townhouse), using extensive knowledge of Japanese architecture and design skills.

More recently, I have been a freelance tour leader/guide mostly for small group tours travelling various destinations in Japan. The extensive knowledge of Japan, superior language skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Japanese and English, as well as amiable personality and ability to think from the perspective of other people with different cultural background have all contributed to great experience for visitors who thoroughly enjoyed their stay in Japan.
